On June 3, 2006, in the Grand Kremlin Palace, top public awards of the Russian Federation – Peter the Great orders and awards were given in the framework of celebrations of the Tenth Anniversary of Peter the Great Assembly. According to Resolution No. 17 of May 25, 2006 of the Russian Federation Government, OJSC Novosibirskneftegas was awarded the “Peter the Great Order of Honor” for a sizeable contribution to the economic development of Russian regions.

The Federal Subsoil Use Agency (Rosnedra) will make its decision on the license for the development of the Kovykta gas condensate field after the completion of negotiations between Gazprom and TNK-BP, said Anatoly Ledovskikh, Head of Rosnedra, to Oil Information Agency (ANI).
